On Monday morning, there was a semi truck crash on Highway 70 in Buncombe County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened near Grovestone Road at about 8:00 a.m. Very little information about this big rig crash has been released, but we do know that there was also a smaller passenger occupant vehicle involved. Initial reports indicate that the smaller vehicle somehow became lodged underneath the tractor-trailer.
First responders and crews rushed to the scene, where the westbound lanes of US-70 had to be closed for a period of time. Injuries were reported in connection with this truck crash.
