Earlier this week, a hit-and-run driver slammed into a house on Sand Hill Road in Asheville. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, this isn’t the first hit-and-run crash to happen on this particular stretch of roadway. Thankfully, no injuries were reported with the recent crash, but there have been many other incidents involving speeding and hit-and-run drivers in the area.

In the past few weeks, speeding drivers have hit mailboxes, trashcans, and even a dog. Concerned community members are hoping something will change. The latest hit-and-run incident is under investigation with the Asheville Police Department.
