Truck Accident Investigations

Unlike accidents involving only traditional passenger occupant vehicles, truck accidents often require additional in-depth investigations. Commercial trucking companies and drivers have to adhere to specific federal regulations for safe roadway operation. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is the agency tasked with regulating the commercial trucking industry. After a truck accident, it’s vital to determine if the truck driver or trucking company was in violation of any federal safety regulations.
