On Saturday afternoon, there was a fatal crash in Henderson County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened at about 3:00 p.m. on Crab Creek Road, near Curtis Drive. For currently unknown reasons, a westbound Ford pickup truck crossed the centerline and struck a Chrysler head-on. The pickup truck driver, a 44-year-old man from South Carolina, was killed in the crash.
The couple in the Chrysler, Timothy and Tana Davis of Ellenboro, were transported to Mission Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. There has been no word on their current conditions, but they were described as alert and talking as of Saturday evening.
