On Saturday night, there was a motorcycle wreck on the Blue Ridge Parkway in Buncombe County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened near Mile Marker 405 and the Hominy Valley Overlook, sometime around 11:00 a.m. Although very few details about this motorcycle crash have been released, we do know that the rider was transported to Mission Hospital for treatment of injuries. There has been no word on the cause of this crash, or if any other vehicles were involved in this apparent single-motorcycle wreck. Also, no information has been released about the current condition of the rider or on the extent of injuries involved.
