On Saturday, there was a vehicle fire on I-26 in Asheville. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened sometime before 4:00 p.m., in the eastbound lanes. Thankfully, the driver and passenger were able to pull over and get out of the vehicle, and no injuries were reported. First responders were swiftly on the scene, where a portion of I-26 had to be closed until almost 5:00 p.m.
