Truck Accident Investigations
Accident investigations involving commercial vehicles are often much more complicated than investigations that only involve traditional passenger occupant vehicles. Commercial drivers and trucking companies have additional rules and federal regulations to follow to ensure safety for themselves, their cargo and all other roadway users. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) is the agency tasked with regulating the commercial trucking industry. After an accident, it’s important to have a lawyer with truck accident case experience, since these cases are so complicated. Often times, there are multiple investigative agencies involved, and it’s essential to determine what went wrong in each particular case.
