On Friday, a teen was injured when an unlicensed driver struck her in Brevard. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the collision happened near Hillview Avenue and Hillview Circle. The victim, 14-year-old Sarah Gravley, was on her skateboard when the vehicle struck her. She was airlifted to Mission Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. She was rushed into emergency surgery and had to have rods put into both of her legs.
Very few details about this crash have been released, but we do know that the driver has been charged with driving without a license. This wreck is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities. Gravley is expected to have a lengthy recovery from her injuries.
