The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is currently publicizing their anti-drunk driving campaign for the Super Bowl weekend. “Fans Don’t Let Fans Drive Drunk” is all about raising awareness about the dangers of drunk driving on Super Bowl Sunday, or any other time of the year. The NHTSA is calling on football fans, no matter what side you’re on, to get home safely. Plan for a safe ride home in advance, and if your ride falls through, have a backup plan.
A backup plan can be as simple as a rideshare app on your phone. Party hosts are reminded to keep an eye on their guests. If you have to, take away the keys. It could save a life.
