Over the weekend, a semi truck crashed over an embankment on US 25-70 at the Buncombe County and Madison County line. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the truck reportedly flipped off of the roadway and down a 100-foot embankment. At this time, it is believed that the driver was either ejected from the vehicle or crawled out of the wreckage on his own. He was found unconscious near the crashed truck.
He had to be airlifted to Mission Hospital in critical condition. There’s no word on the extent of his injuries or his current condition, but the team at Davis Law Group, P.A. wishes him a full and swift recovery. The cause of this crash is still under investigation by law enforcement authorities.
