Over the weekend, there was a truck crash in Asheville on Old Fort Road. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened between Highway 9 and the McDowell County Line. Very few details about this tractor-trailer crash have been released, but we do know that the truck jackknifed in the roadway. Initial reports indicate that the road was closed for about five to six hours as crews and first responders worked the scene.
At this time, there has been no word on the cause of the semi-truck crash, which could still be under investigation with local authorities.
