Earlier this week, there was a semi-truck crash on Interstate 26 in Polk County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened just south of the Saluda exit on Monday afternoon. Very few details about this wreck have been released, but initial reports indicate that a passenger occupant vehicle and a big rig were involved. First responders rushed to the scene, where they had to extricate an occupant from the smaller vehicle.

That person was rushed to a local hospital for treatment of injuries, but there has been no word on their current condition. A portion of the roadway had to be closed as crews and first responders worked the scene, and this crash could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
