On Tuesday morning, a Buncombe County school bus was rear-ended in Candler. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the collision happened shortly before 7:00 a.m. on Justice Ridge Road near I-40. Very few details about this incident have been released, but we do know that four children were on the bus at the time of the crash. Thankfully, no serious injuries were reported on the scene.
A portion of the roadway had to be closed as crews and first responders worked the scene, and the driver who rear-ended the bus has been charged with reckless driving.
