Law enforcement officers are trying to locate the owner of a dog that bit a person at the Valvoline Instant Oil Change on Merrimon Avenue last week. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, if the owner isn’t located soon, the person who was bitten will have to undergo the rabies post-exposure regimen of shots. The dog owner was described as a white male in his early 30s, and he had two dogs with him.

The first dog was a medium-sized black and white dog that could have been a sheepdog mix, and the second dog looked like a pit bull mix. Officials with the Asheville Police Department are asking for anybody with information about the dog owner to come forward with contact information.
