On Saturday, a pedestrian in Greenville County was struck and killed by a car. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened at about 1:45 p.m. at the intersection of Highway 14 and Stonebrook Farm Way. The driver apparently lost control of their vehicle and struck the jogger. The victim, 44-year-old Andrew Vanevera, was jogging with a friend at the time of the collision.

He was pronounced dead at Greenville Memorial Hospital. At this time, very few details about the collision have been released. We do know that the incident is under investigation with the Greenville County Coroner’s Office and the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
