On Wednesday afternoon, a girl was ejected from a vehicle during a one-car crash in Henderson County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened on East Blue Ridge Road. For currently unknown reasons, the automobile left the roadway, went into a ditch, hit a culvert and then went airborne. At the time of the crash, there were four people in the car, including two children.

A witness nearby rushed over to help and found one of the girls underneath the car’s rear axle. At this time, very few details have been released, but we do know that all four occupants in the vehicle were transported to the hospital for treatment. Injuries were described as serious, although there is no news on their current conditions. This crash is likely still under investigation with law enforcement authorities.
