New Year’s Eve is one of the more dangerous nights to be on roadways in North Carolina and across the United States. Celebrations full of alcoholic beverages and champagne toasts simultaneously end and slews of potentially buzzed and drunk drivers take to the roadways. While law enforcement plans to increase patrols and enforcement, the roadways are still going to be treacherous.
