Wet Weather Driving Safety
During wet weather, it’s important for motorists to adjust their speed and driving to the conditions of the roadway. Slowing down, especially when the rain first begins to fall, is essential for keeping your car under control. A little bit of light or fresh rain mixing with oils on top of the road can make the roadway more slippery than it looks. Always turn your lights on, and try to avoid hard braking or any sudden movements. Remember to leave plenty of room between your car and the car in front of you, in the event of an emergency, you’ll need extra room to brake safely. Listed below are some additional tips for driving safely in wet weather.
