There were multiple crashes in and around the Asheville area during inclement weather last Friday. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, there were at least four traffic incidents reported in Buncombe County between the afternoon hours of 2:30 p.m. and 4:00 p.m. Wrecks were reported on I-26 and I-40. Very few details were released about these crashes, but we do know that a trooper’s vehicle was involved in one of the wrecks.
Driving in Poor Weather
Motorists in and around the Asheville area are encouraged to adjust their speed to the weather conditions and drive safely. Thankfully, only minor injuries were reported in many of these rainy-day wrecks.
