On Monday morning, three people were injured in a multi-vehicle crash on Highway 209. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened in Haywood County, near Golf Course Road in the Iron Duff area, just before 8:30 a.m. Very few details have been released about this crash, but initial reports indicate that one of the vehicles crossed the center line and struck two other vehicles.

All three drivers involved suffered from significant injuries, and one of them had to be flown to the University of Tennessee Medical Center for treatment. This crash is still under investigation with the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
