Last week, there was a multi-vehicle crash in Great Smoky Mountains National Park. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened on Tuesday on Newfound Gap Road, near the Sugarlands Visitor Center and Smokemont Campground. Very little information has been released about this wreck, but we do know that at least six people were injured.

First responders and park rangers rushed to the scene. Some of the injured people were transported to local hospitals by ambulance, and at least one person had to be air lifted from the scene. The cause of this wreck is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
