Over the weekend, there was a multi-car crash on I-26 in Asheville. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened in the eastbound lanes near the Long Shoals Road exit. Very few details have been released, but we do know that three vehicles were involved in the crash, and one of them overturned.
First responders and crews rushed to the scene, and traffic was backed up in both directions for miles. Eastbound lanes had to be closed, and motorists were diverted as crews worked the scene. There has been no word on injuries involved or if anybody was cited or charged in connection with the crash.
