Over the weekend, there was a motorcycle injury crash on the Blue Ridge Parkway. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on Sunday afternoon, near Orchard Road in the Spruce Pine area. Very little information has been released about this motorcycle wreck, but we do know that two people were ejected from the motorcycle, and one of them had to be airlifted to the hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
Initial reports indicate that the motorcycle may have hit an embankment. No information has been released on the cause of this motorcycle crash, which could still be under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
