On Friday night, there was a motorcycle injury crash in Marion. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened sometime before 8:00 p.m. on Reid Street in McDowell County. Very few details about this apparent one-vehicle crash have been released, but we do know that when first responders arrived on the scene, the motorcycle rider was found to be suffering from life-threatening injuries. That person was transported to Mission Hospital’s Trauma Center for treatment.

A portion of the roadway was closed until about 10:00 p.m. as crews and first responders worked the scene. No information has been released about the injured motorcycle rider’s current condition. Additionally, there has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
