On Wednesday afternoon, a high-speed motorcycle chase ended in a wreck in Buncombe County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident began on New Liecester Highway, when an 18-year-old motorcycle rider failed to stop for authorities.
Very few details have been released, but officials did report that the chase ended in a crash on Monte Vista Road. Law enforcement officers and first responders were on the scene, but there’s no word on whether or not the rider or anybody else was injured in the crash, or if other vehicles were involved. WLOS ABC News Channel 13 did report that there were charges pending against the motorcyclist.
