Last Wednesday, there was a fatal motorcycle crash in the Great Smoky Mountains National Park. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened at about 1:00 p.m., just west of Sinks, on Little River Road. At this time, very few details have been released, but we do know that the wreck involved a Toyota Tundra truck and a motorcycle. The motorcycle rider, 68-year-old Thomas B. Bailey of Meadows of Dan, Virginia, was killed in the crash.

Park Rangers and other first responders were called to the scene. There has been no word on the cause of the crash, which is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
