Forbes magazine has named the 4th of July America’s Most Dangerous Holiday. During the July 4th, Independence Day Holiday, over the last five years, 750 people were killed in crashes involving alcohol-impaired drivers. Independence Day has become synonymous with injury causing and fatal drunk driving crashes across the country.

NHTSA’s Drunk Driving Prevention Campaign

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is trying to raise awareness about the dangers of drinking and driving. In addition to increased social and educational awareness about drunk driving, law enforcement agencies in North Carolina and across the nation will be stepping up efforts to catch offenders and keep roads safe this holiday weekend. If you or a loved one has been injured in a crash involving a drunk driver, contact a skilled personal injury attorney as soon as possible.

The whole team at Davis Law Group, P.A. wishes everybody a safe and happy 4th of July weekend.
