On Saturday evening, a teen pedestrian in Lumberton was struck and killed by a hit-and-run driver. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened at about 7:15 p.m. on a road about a mile east of town. Although very few details have been released, the teen was reportedly a student at Fairmont High School.
At this time, there has been no word on how the crash happened. Law enforcement authorities do not have a description of the vehicle, other than it probably has damage to the front end. This fatal pedestrian collision is still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
