Last week, a man in Asheville was found guilty of intentionally causing 12 car crashes. According to the Citizen-Times, 27-year-old Byron Fulghum was sentenced to a year behind bars and ordered to bay $45,363.08 in restitution to insurance companies and victims. He was found guilty of six felony counts of insurance fraud, four misdemeanor counts of injury to personal property, four misdemeanor counts of assault with a deadly weapon and four misdemeanor counts of reckless driving to endanger.

Thankfully, nobody was killed in any of these crashes, although one of his victims was a 74-year-old woman whose car flipped over during the wreck. The crashes were captured on Fulghum’s dashboard camera, and some of them were even posted on YouTube.
