Last week, there was an injury crash in Mills River. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on Wednesday morning near the intersection of Turnpike Road and Brannon Road. This single-vehicle crash sent a car off of the roadway and into a nearby patch of trees. Initial reports indicate that speed may have been a factor in this crash.

When crews arrived on the scene, a woman was trapped inside of the wreckage. She was rescued and airlifted to Mission Hospital for treatment of serious injuries. There has been no word on her current condition or the full extent of injuries involved. This crash could still be under investigation with local law enforcement authorities.
