Last week, a Good Samaritan rescued an infant from a wrecked car on Fairview Road. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the vehicle landed on its side against the glass wall of Sona Pharmacy in East Asheville. Although very few details about this wreck have been released, initial reports indicate that the driver lost control of his vehicle and it crashed passenger-side down into the glass wall of Sona Pharmacy and Clinic.

In the chaos of the situation, a Good Samaritan came out of nowhere and rescued a toddler from the wreckage. He was able to pull the baby and the car seat out. Thankfully, a pediatrician was in the parking lot and immediately tended to the small child. The driver was rushed to Mission Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
