A new sidewalk project in Hendersonville is expected to improve pedestrian safety on a portion of Four Seasons Boulevard. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, approximately 1,000 feet of sidewalk is being installed in an area with a lot of fast food restaurants. There is already heavy foot traffic in the area, and pedestrians are hoping the sidewalk will help to improve safety.

The Federal Transportation Administration has funded a large part of the $300,000 cost of the Four Seasons Sidewalk Improvement Project. Although originally scheduled to be finished in May, the sidewalk project is ahead of schedule. Pedestrians in the area can look forward to a completion of the dedicated walking space in the near future.
