On Sunday, a two-year-old child in Henderson County was attacked by a dog. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened inside of a family home on Frankie Lane. Although they didn’t own the dog, they did feed the stray husky mix the day prior to the attack.

Although very few details have been released, we do know that the dog was inside of a dark closet with the two-year-old girl at the time of the attack. There is no word on how the child and dog got into the closet. This incident is still under investigation with local law enforcement officials, and the dog is currently under quarantine. At this time, the child is recovering with 11 stitches.
