Over the weekend, there was a head-on collision on Highway 64 in Transylvania County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened at about 10:00 p.m. on Saturday night, near the intersection of Crab Creek Road. Very little information has been released about this crash, but we do know that at least two people were seriously injured. Initial reports indicate that a driver crossed the center lane and hit another vehicle head on.

One of the drivers was pinned in his vehicle after the crash. First responders had to extricate that person from the wreckage. The drivers of both vehicles had to be transported to a nearby hospital for treatment of serious injuries. This crash could still be under investigation.
