Last week, a man in Buncombe County suffered from a head injury in a collision. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on Brevard Road, near the Buncombe, Henderson County line, on Wednesday afternoon. Very few details about the wreck have been released, but we do know that one of the vehicles involved went off of the roadway and down into a ravine. First responders rushed to the scene, where they found a man inside of a vehicle with an apparent head injury. That person was transported to Mission Hospital for treatment.

Brevard Road Injury Crash

A portion of the roadway had to be closed as crews and first responders worked the scene. At this time, there has been no word on the extent of that man’s injuries or his current condition. Also, no information on the cause of the crash has been released, and the wreck is likely still under investigation with the Buncombe County Sheriff’s Office. Additionally, there has been no information on whether or not anybody else was involved or injured in the crash.
