On Wednesday morning, a fire truck crash in Hendersonville sent two firefighters to the hospital. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened at around 8:00 a.m., when the fire truck was responding to a nearby crash. The fire truck left the roadway and went down an embankment.

Two of the injured firefighters had to be carried on stretchers back up to the roadway. One of the firefighters had to be admitted to Mission Hospital for treatment of a broken collarbone and internal injuries. He was listed in stable condition though. At this time, the crash is being blamed on icy roadway conditions.
