Early Friday morning, a semi truck crash in Polk County took the life of one man. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened on I-26 near the Saluda exit, at about 2:15 a.m. For currently unknown reasons, the tractor trailer left the roadway, came over the guardrail and overturned beside the roadway. The driver of that truck, Tony Joseph Hurst or Chapin, South Carolina, was killed in the crash.

Very few details about the fatal truck crash have been released, and the cause of the wreck is likely still under investigation with the authorities. Portions of the roadway were closed for hours as first responders and crews worked the scene. The large truck was hauling tiny plastic pellets, which spilled all over the interstate. The team at Davis Law Group, P.A. sends their deepest condolences to the family members and friends of Tony Joseph Hurst.
