On Tuesday morning, a crash in Mars Hill took the life of a paraplegic passenger. The car he was riding in was headed west on Bull Creek Road, when the driver reportedly fell asleep at the wheel. The car left the roadway and ended up in a ditch. Sadly, the victim, 24-year-old Wesley Coates, was not wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash. No other vehicles were involved in this wreck.

According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, this crash is still under investigation, but alcohol and speed don’t appear to have been factors. The driver was treated for injuries on the scene. The team at the Davis Law Group, P.A. sends their deepest condolences to the family members and friends of Wesley Coates.
