On Wednesday, there was a fatal industrial incident at a business in Marion. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened at Marion Machine Co. Very little information about this incident has been released, but we do know that law enforcement officials were called to the scene, where a 32-year-old man was injured and unconscious. When police officers arrived on the scene, paramedics were already attending to the injured man.
In spite of attempted life-saving efforts, the man died of his injuries. At this time, no information has been released on how this apparent workplace incident happened. The cause of this fatal industrial incident is likely still under investigation.
