Over the weekend, there was a fatal hit-and-run crash in downtown Asheville. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened at about 2:48 a.m., on Sunday morning, near the intersection of South Charlotte Street and Max Street. Very few details about this fatal hit-and-run crash have been released, but we do know that the collision took the life of 29-year-old Bradley Christopher Barnes. The driver involved fled the scene. At this time, officials with the Asheville Police Department are still looking for the driver.

Police Are Still Looking For the Hit-and-Run Driver
Police are still searching for the vehicle and driver involved in the fatal hit-and-run in downtown Asheville. The vehicle is thought to be a 2003-2007 metallic blue Toyota Highlander. Authorities believe the vehicle has damage to its front driver side. The Asheville Police Department is asking anybody with information about the vehicle or the incident to come forward.
