On Monday morning, a South Carolina man was killed in a crash on Hendersonville Road. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened sometime after 6:30 a.m. near the Blue Ridge Parkway overpass. For currently unknown reasons, 56-year-old David Earl Gosnell’s truck crossed over four lanes of traffic and collided with another vehicle. Gosnell did not survive his injuries, and the driver in the other vehicle was transported to Mission Hospital for treatment of life-threatening injuries.
Very few details have been released about the collision, which is still under investigation with the Asheville Police Department’s Traffic Unit.
