On Monday morning, there was a fatal crash on Hendersonville Road in Asheville. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened just after 5:00 a.m. Very little information has been released, but we do know that a 23-year-old man from Asheville was killed in the crash. Initial reports indicate that a Nissan Sentra was headed north when it crossed the centerline into the southbound lane.
The Sentra hit a Jeep Liberty head on. The Sentra’s driver was killed in the crash, and the driver and passenger in the Jeep were rushed to Mission Hospital for treatment of injuries. Anybody with additional information about this crash is being asked to contact the Asheville Police Department.
