Last week, there was a fatal crash in Henderson County. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened on Friday morning at about 10:15 a.m. The crash, which happened in the 1600 block of Sugarloaf Road at Naomi Drive, took the life of one person and sent another to the hospital. First responders had to use the Jaws of Life to free trapped passengers.
Witness reports indicate that a vehicle hit something head on. Very few details about the crash have been released, but we do know that this particular stretch of road is well known for speeding and collisions. At this time, no information has been released about the cause of the crash or on the current condition of the injured person. This crash could still be under investigation with local authorities.
