A “highway rampage” is being blamed for a series of wrecks that happened on Interstates 40 and 26 in Buncombe County earlier this week. The driver, 27-year-old Tiffany Hill, was apparently under the influence of alcohol and medication when she struck at least seven other cars. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, Hill was charged with DWI, hit and run and reckless driving.

Witness reports indicate that Hill was deliberately slamming into other vehicles, one after another. Her car finally came to rest after slamming into a guardrail near the exit for Airport Road. Thankfully, nobody was killed during this rampage and no serious injuries were reported.
