On Saturday evening, a drunk driver in Alexander struck a tiny home off of Old Highway 20. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the crash destroyed the small house. Thankfully, nobody was in the house at the time of the wreck, and there were no major injuries reported. Although the driver involved said he swerved to miss an oncoming car, a neighbor’s security camera caught the wreck on film. The footage showed that there was no oncoming car, and that the driver erratically swerved into the tiny house.
The overturned truck demolished the small home. The driver was charged with DWI and taken to a local hospital for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
