Holiday Drunk Driving Crashes

Even with law enforcement officials out in full force this holiday season, motorists are reminded to buckle up. Although buckling up is the single most effective way to improve your safety in the event of a car accident, it can’t save every life or prevent every injury. Many law enforcement and public safety agencies in North Carolina and throughout the nation will continue with their increased enforcement periods and additional patrol schedules throughout the weekend and into the New Year. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) is also getting ready for their annual Super Bowl Safety Campaign that is aimed at reducing drunk driving crashes.

Keeping Asheville Roadways Safe

Nobody should have to mourn the loss of a loved one over the holidays or anytime of the year due to preventable causes like drunk or drugged driving. The NHTSA wants partygoers to know that buzzed driving is drunk driving, and even one drink can be one too many behind the wheel. The whole team Davis Law Group, P.A. sends their deepest heartfelt condolences to Derek Miller’s family members, friends, loved ones and classmates and wishes everybody a safe and happy start to the New Year.
