Last week, a Henderson County deputy was injured in a two-car crash. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened near the intersection of Howard Gap Road and Clear Creek Road. Very few details about this wreck have been released, but we do know that the deputy’s patrol car was rear-ended. The deputy was transported to the hospital for treatment of injuries. Thankfully, that person’s injuries were not described as life threatening.

There has been no word on the cause of the crash or whether or not the other driver is facing citations or any kind of charges. This wreck could still be under investigation with the North Carolina Highway Patrol.
