On Tuesday night, a cyclist was hit by a car in Asheville. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the incident happened at the intersection of Tunnel Road and Interstate 240. Very little information has been released about this crash, but we do know that the cyclist was seriously injured.
The cyclist was transported to a local hospital for treatment of injuries. Thankfully, the injuries were described as non-life-threatening on the scene, but there has been no word on that person’s current condition. Additionally, no details have been released on whether or not the driver is facing any citations or charges. This incident could still be under investigation.
