Last week, there was a crash on Haywood Road in the West Asheville area. According to WLOS ABC News Channel 13, the wreck happened in front of a Citi-Stop convenience store. Although very few details have been released about this crash, we do know that a vehicle struck a power pole beside the roadway.
First responders rushed to the scene, where a portion of the roadway had to be blocked between Vermont Avenue and Brevard Road for most of the day. There has been no word on whether or not anybody was injured or what the cause of this crash was. This wreck is likely still under investigation with local law enforcement officials.
