An 11-year-old boy is still in critical condition after being struck by a car on Highway 70 in McDowell County. The incident happened on Tuesday evening at about 8:00 p.m. According to WLOS ABC Channel 13 News, a 15-year-old driver struck him. Reportedly, only the car’s side view mirror struck him, but it was enough to send him to the hospital in critical condition.

Very few details have been released about this crash, but WLOS ABC News reports that the teen driver hasn’t been charged with anything. Sadly, this wreck happens just a few weeks after two teens were struck on Barnardsville Highway, leaving one dead and one in the hospital. The team at Davis Law Group, P.A. wishes this young man a speedy and full recovery from his injuries.
